"What? Didn’t hear you. Don’t yell!" Most people suffer hearing loss as they age. For some, it’s more severe than others. As a household gradually becomes a hearing-impaired household, the results are predictable. New challenges in relationships emerge. Frustration. Shouting. Miscommunication. Isolation. Anger. In this session, we will share stories, discuss solutions, and practice new ways to help foster household peace.

This is the first of a series of programs Rapp at Home will be offering on hearing impairment. The second, on April 8, will focus on assistive technology that folks with hearing loss can take advantage of with or without hearing aids.
