In addition to providing transportation so that house bound neighbors can shop for groceries and other necessities. Rapp at Home volunteers can also provide pick-up and delivery service for persons who are unable to or ought not leave their home during the Covid-19 crisis.

Most of our larger local grocers now offer online ordering and accept payment by credit card. When you place your order you also select a pickup time. Your order is then delivered to you or your agent at the curb. For more information about nearby stores, Click Stores. For information about pharmacies, Click Pharmacies.

If you are unable to pick up your groceries or prescriptions, Rapp at Home will try to arrange for a volunteer to help you. The volunteer will call you to arrange and confirm details before making the pickup and delivery. They will call you to let you know when they will arrive, and they will leave your order at your doorstep. There need be no direct contact between you and the volunteer.

Please note that you may need to order 3 – 5 days in advance for pick-up. And at Rapp at Home we will need that time to arrange for a volunteer pick-up person, so give us a call right after you place your order at 540-937-4663.
